Privacy & data retention
Last updated: 11 July 2026
The short version
We collect only what a visa application needs, store it encrypted in the European Union, use it only to process your application, and automatically delete your passport documents 60 days after a visa decision. We never sell your data.
What we collect
- Contact details: name, email, WhatsApp number
- Application data: passport information page, passport-style photograph, travel dates
- Payment records: handled by Stripe/PayPal — we never see or store your card number
How we use it
To prepare, verify and submit your visa application on the official government portal, to pay the government fee on your behalf, to send you status updates, and to meet legal obligations. Your passport data is shared only with the Government of Uzbekistan's e-visa system as part of your application, and with the processors listed below.
Where it lives
Application data is stored with Supabase in the European Union. Documents are held in a private, access-controlled bucket. Our processors include Stripe (payments), Meta/WhatsApp (messaging), Resend (email) and Vercel (hosting).
Retention and deletion
Passport documents are automatically deleted 60 days after your visa decision. Order records (without documents) are kept as required for accounting and legal purposes. You may request earlier deletion at any time, subject to legal retention duties.
Your rights
Under the EU GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can complain to your supervisory authority. Write to privacy@uzvisa.com and we will respond within 30 days.
